What We Check

• Tread depth – the legal minimum is 1.6mm, but performance degrades well before that point
• Tyre pressure – incorrect pressure affects handling, wear, and fuel consumption
• Condition – looking for cracking, bulging, or impact damage that may not be visible without inspection
• Fitment – making sure the correct size and load rating is fitted

Puncture Repairs

Not every puncture means a new tyre because where the damage falls within the repairable zone (the central three-quarters of the tread), we can carry out a proper plug and patch repair in line with British Standard. However, if the tyre can’t be safely repaired, we’ll tell you why and offer a replacement at a fair price.

Wheel Balancing Included

All new tyre fits include wheel balancing as standard. An unbalanced tyre causes vibration, accelerates tyre wear, and puts unnecessary strain on wheel bearings. It takes a few minutes and makes a real difference to how the vehicle feels on the road.
