What Class Does My Motorhome Fall Under?

Most motorhomes are tested as Class 4 or Class 5 vehicles depending on their seating capacity, with larger and heavier models falling under Class 7. If you’re unsure which class applies to yours, we can confirm when you get in touch. What matters is that our facility is equipped for the full range.

What the Test Covers

The MOT for a motorhome covers the same core categories as a car or van test, with some additional checks relevant to larger vehicles:

• Brakes, including any secondary braking systems

Before You Book

If your motorhome has been laid up over winter, a pre-MOT health check can be a sensible step. Tyres deflate, batteries discharge, and lights can develop faults during storage. We can carry out a check and resolve any obvious issues before the test itself.
